PROFESSIONAL AUDIO/VIDEO/CCTV EQUIPMENT GUARANTEE CERTIFICATE
GUARANTEE CERTIFICATE
- Product warranty service provided by Shun Hing JVC Ltd. (the Company) is applicable only for professional audio/video/CCTV equipment (including JVC, MC and other brand) imported by the Company and restricted for products sold and being used in Hong Kong or Macau.
- This is to certify that the professional audio/video/CCTV equipment identified on the warranty service is free of congenital defects in materials and workmanship. The Company guarantees to offer the end user one year free warranty service within the limit of the following conditions:
(a) For any defect, in the judgment of our technician, caused under normal use, the Company is responsible for repairing or replacing parts (except those listed in item (b) below) of the said equipment free of charge within one year free guarantee period commencing from the date of purchase. Any defective part which has been replaced shall become our property.
(b) The guarantee period of the following parts is:
i) CCD image sensor, vidicons and pick-up tubes for broadcasting/professional/CCTV video camera are guaranteed for six months.
ii) Video heads for broadcasting/professional/CCTV VCR monitor, LCD TV projector and other professional audio video equipment are guaranteed for one year or 1000 working hours whichever comes first (Guarantee dose not cover the degradation in picture quality due to long hours of use in LCD monitors. Light bulb exhaust/exchange of LCD projector is also not included.).
iii) If replacement for the captioned part is required within the one year guarantee of the equipment and after the guarantee period of the captioned part, charges for the part and adjustment is levied (excluding charges for checking out, repairing and transportation).
(c) The guarantee service does not cover the repair and replacement of cabinet, CRT (picture tube), panel, lens, remote controller, battery, AC adaptor, connecting cables or standard accessories and other external connecting cables.
(d) Repair service, mounting or dismounting of equipment installed at top lifts or a height exceeding 2 meters above floor level, service will be provided on chargeable basis (starting from HK$500).
(e) The free guarantee service does not include the free for labor, material and transportation required to relocate the equipment. When such extra services are required, an estimation of charges will be quoted for client's consideration before work is started.
- The guarantee service will become void under any and/or several of the following conditions:
(a) The product has been altered or replaced by technician or any other person not explicitly authorized by the Company.
(b) It has been damaged through misuse, negligence, accident, dampness, water ingress, insect or natural calamities.
(c) It has developed malfunctions caused by power interruption, abnormal voltage input or using substandard consumables or accessories.
(d) The serial number of the product has been altered or removed.
- You MUST present the official receipt to the technician for inspection when service is rendered. The date of purchase on the warranty registration must be the same as that on the official receipt. Otherwise, all warranties would be void.
- The Company does not recognize any other warranty service issued by any other party.
- In case you wish to amend any data on the warranty registration, such as change of owner or address, please inform SHUN HING ELECTRIC SERVICE CENTRE LTD. (Tel: 2406 5388) as soon as possible to ensure efficient service.
- For Hong Kong off-shore islands service (excluding Discovery Bay and Tung Chung town centre), a travelling fee will be levied and in case workshop service is needed, the unit must be brought by the customer to our service stations listed below and pick up at the same spot after repair.
- The Company retains final deciding authority in any event of dispute.
- All terms, stated and implied, are subject to change without prior notice.
